The clients design brief was to propose something that was contemporary with a styling that optimises a sense of elegance and prestige for this upmarket locality in Melbourne that would stand the test of time. The proposed dwellings comprises of large basements and two stories above ground level. The spacious internal layouts integrate seamlessly with the external spaces with associated pools and recreation areas. The geometric elements assembled in compositional form which integrates flat roof segments at various heights, contrasting palette of materials and finishes allows for a well considered overall design aesthetic. The proposed use of travertine stone cladding demonstrates a further sense of quality carried throughout the whole design.
