This project is for a truck servicing and sales facility located within a commercial zone. The brief was to redesign the front façade and entry area into the facility, with internal alterations to the administration and amenities areas of the building.
The concept derived aimed to provide a sense of presence to the main road location that was lacking with the existing building façade. The concept proposal used various steel cladding materials and geometrical forms establishing a repetitious pattern with steel grille like elements and louvres referencing the automotive background of the program to the facility.
