Mountain Highway, Baywater

This project is a 3 level self-storage facility inclusive of a basement level. It is located on a corner site of an industrial zone. Car parking is provided on ground floor both internally and externally, with vehicular circulation via two entry points into the building. The façade to both the vehicular entry and reception area are articulated to provide shelter to the entry and be easily identifiable from the streets.

As part of this project brief we were given license by our clients to develop the branding for the storage facility (and subsequent storage facilities) through the Architectural design of the complex. By incorporating iconic colours and facades which used cladding as a concept for static transformations from various elements and entrance points it was considered that the proposal should command street presence whilst still maintaining a sense of landscape prevalent with in the existing site and surrounds.
